Hey there Hi there. Here it is Sunday afternoon and I'm having a hard time believing that another week has passed. I'm really looking forward to this weekend when we can all be together and I can address each of you personally. The personalness (not a word I know) just isn't in these typed messages.
The last line of D&C 38:30 states, "...but if ye are prepared ye shall not fear." So what is the preparation that you should be about right now so as to eliminate fear. I could easily list you a long list of general things from our day that we should be preparing for, but I will refrain. All right I heard the collective sighs of relief, now you all be nice.
Now your instruction. First individually, then as couples and then as families contemplate what brings fear of anykind into your heart and soul, or even just into your mind. Now make a list and prioritize the list. There is your personalized, individual list of things to prepare for. As you make proper preporation in these areas I promise that the fear will subside and will be replaced with faith. The Lord knows each of you and loves you. I know each of you and love you. We want you to be happy. So in the spirit of true faith... DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY. I love you all and am counting the minutes till this weekend.

Craig and Maggie,
No I'm not just "rolling in free time" and I will let you know what's keeping me so busy. LIFE.
I don't know if I am just getting slower as I put on a little age, but I'm having a hard time keeping up with it all. I'm a husband, father and Grandfather, a High Priests group leader, a self-employed businessman, a city councilman and as such I sit on a couple boards and the Chapter Leader of the Freedom First Society of Pocatello. I'd like to say that other than that I have nothing to do but that is not true. I have a lot else to do. I AM BUSY. Now to address everybody and not just Craig and Maggie. All that being said I love each one of you and you are the most important thing in my BUSY LIFE. We had Stake Conference today and Pres. Monson presided. It was broadcast from the conference center. We also heard from Elder C. Scott Growe, Sister Barbara Thompson and Elder Robert D. Hales. WOW talk about instructions. My greatest desire is to have a positive, righteous influence in the lives of my children and grandchildren. I'm committed to start working harder on that. For now know this: I know God lives and loves us. Jesus is the Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is their church and kingdom here on the earth. Joseph Smith was and is the Lords prophet of the restoration in these latter-days. The Book of Mormon is true and I love it's mission and message. We have prophets on the earth today. I have the greatest children and the cutest most darling grandchildren in the world. I love you all more than words can say. Thanks for being who you are. MORE TO FOLLOW!!! I've go to do something!!!
Life is way to busy and unless I just schedule some time and do this thing it"s not going to happen.
So schedule I will. Sundays will probably provide the most discretionary time for me. I will give it my best effort. Love ya all, but gotta go.
